Code

I noticed that the document was definitely written by hand. It is well organized and the semantics, like nav, main, and divs to group content are all present. I noticed that she has a class on her body element to specify designs on each specific page, like we talked about in class. She also uses normalize.css to standardize all of the styles across browsers. The logo is created using an svg
element which means it takes up little space but is very high quality and scalable.
User Interface - UI

The user interface is very well thought out. There are lots of colors, but they seem like they were carefully chosen since they go well together. The font sizes are readable and there are images with each article that visually show the reader what the article is about. The homepage is minimal and shows previews of some of the sections of the websites, like articles and inspiration. Overall, the site is very visually appealing, which gives credibility to the author since the website's purpose is to showcase and teach about Veerle's designs.
User Experience - UX

The user experience on the website is also carefully considered. There are few links in the navigation with icons that help the user choose what they are looking for. All of the articles and tutorials have pictures to preview or highlight what the user will learn about when they click. On the homepage, there is a sentence with links that describe the purpose of the website and guide the user to the section they are looking for.
Summary
Overall, this site is very visually appealing and easy to use. Not only is the website well designed, but the code as well. Each element has specific class names and the code is semantically correct. The website engages the user and makes them want to learn more about how to create a website as beautiful as hers using the tutorials, articles, and design inspiration.
